By Kelli Mahoney I am a firm believer in using lists to plan a party. In fact, I have been told many times that my lists are too detailed. Yet, when it comes to planning an event, my lists have been a saving grace in keeping me from getting too overwhelmed. When I start to plan a party, I most likely have a specific idea in mind of what I want. Then I think about all the details of what I want and begin to make lists of what I will need to make that idea come to be. Things like dcor, food, invitations, guests, and more all get compiled into my list. I start with one big list, kind of a brainstorm, of everything I can think of, then I break it down into categories. Where am I going to have the party? What am I going to serve my guests? What activities will there be? What decorations do I want? All these things are divided among different lists. Then I go into the most minute details on each list. For instance, if I am throwing a medium-sized picnic where I am serving picnic food, I make a list of the food I need catered and the ingredients for the food I will be making myself. This list will help me know what I need from the grocer in the days before the party. I pay attention to each item on my list, too, so that I know how much time I will need to get everything. For instance, if I am throwing an Under the Sea themed party and I want balloon sculptures that look like seahorses, I would need to give the vendor enough notice to make them and have them delivered. Formal invitations sometimes take weeks to print, as so programs and certain party favors. Lists and timelines go hand-in-hand for my planning, so I often use a calendar that functions as a planner, with a monthly calendar and pages for lists. There are excellent pre-printed planners that will work well for any type of party, and there are even planners that are specifically designed for certain types of party like weddings. Creating lists will help keep you focused and organized, which is the key to any good party. By having detailed lists, you will not be caught off-guard the day of the party so you will be able to play the hostess flawlessly, because you will not be running around trying to pick up the things you forgot! By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Vipul_J]Vipul J Everyone wants to buy a car. For some, it is a need and for others, it is a luxury. It is not possible for everyone to buy a car. When you do not have money to buy a car, you can get a car on lease. In case of a lease agreement, you pay monthly rentals for a fixed time period. At the end of this period, you have to return the car. Another option is to buy a car on hire purchase. In this case, you pay a small amount as down payment. The rest of the amount is repaid in the form of monthly installments. The car dealer charges interest when he sells a car on hire purchase. The advantage that a hire purchase agreement holds over a lease agreement is that you own the car once you pay up the price of the car along with the interest amount. You can also take out a car loan to buy a car. The rate of interest on a car loan is higher than the rate on hire purchase. Car loans are mostly secured loans. You can offer your car that you are buying as a security. If you fail to repay the loan, your car may get repossessed by the lender. If you are a homeowner, you can offer your house as collateral to obtain a car loan. The rate of interest on a loan secured against a car or a house is lower than the rate on an unsecured loan. If you do not want to risk your property, then you may get a personal car loan. [http://www.adverse-credit-car-loans.co.uk ]Personal car loans are usually unsecured and carry higher rates of interest. Some people suffer from bad credit history. A bad credit history includes arrears, county court judgements, default, bankruptcy, etc. You acquire a bad credit score if you fail to repay a loan as per the loan terms. Late payments also contribute to bad credit score. People with a poor credit score may also want to buy a car. Lenders offer bad credit car loans to such people. The rate of interest on bad credit car loans is very high. Therefore, it is advisable to take out a secured bad credit loan to keep the interest rate at a low level. By Ispas Marin You are looking for a job and you dont know where to start. Dont panic, this is a frequent problem job seekers come across every day. The best place to start is Internet. Things arent as they use to be a few years ago when everyone would have looked for a new job in a newspaper or trade magazine. Companies used head hunting and search firms in order to find good workers. Nowadays employers look for new workers over the Internet and employees use it to look for jobs. It may look as finding a job over Internet would be a simple thing to do. Well, the reality is that things are never simple. The problem is that there are too many online job listings. In other words, there are hundreds of career sites who are listing available jobs from all over the world. This huge number of career sites looks like a good thing, nonetheless like a problem. How does this become a problem? Well, job seekers surf the Internet every day, looking for a new job. Every day, thousands of available jobs are being posted over hundreds of career web sites. This means that any regular job seeker has plenty of options for finding a good job. But sometimes this means too many options, and too many options could be confusing. You may want to use the career sites for finding a new job, but you have no idea where to start. The first thing you should know is that popular career web sites are a good place to start with. But what will you do after visiting these sites? You should go to sites where job seekers post their resumes. Here is an important tip for you: never limit your job hunting to just one or two career sites. Posting your resume on popular career sites means that your resume will compete with thousands of other applicants. Therefore, you should post your resume on as many career web sites as you can in order to increase your chances of getting the job you want. Apart from this aspect, if you are asked at a job interview about the number of sites you have listed your resume on, saying a big number will reveal your commitment and determination to achieve your goal. And this is the kind of person employers are looking for. Think of yourself that you are a product you want to sell. Apply any marketing methods you know. The best approach is to promote your product (meaning yourself) to as many customers (employers) as you can reach. At http://www.hispanic-jobs.com we provide you with one central place to do all of your online recruiting to find bilingual/Spanish speaking individuals from all over the world. By Jim MacKay Essentially the job of a waitress is to take customers orders, forward them to the kitchen and deliver the meal to the customers table. This might not sound like a difficult task but it can become extremely difficult if a waitress has fifteen tables to serve. Imagine taking orders for fifteen tables by memory. Unless the waitress has an extraordinary memory I dare say this could not be done. This is where guest checks come in. Guest checks are the one tool keeping a waitress organized. When visiting a table of five or six people even, it can be hard trying to remember which guest has which drink much less who wanted onions on their burger and who did not. Guest checks are a must have for a waitress. These pads are detailed usually a place for the table number, quantity of items or any way the business decides to have them designed. Listed on the guest check would be the meal choice, any particular instructions such as onions or no onions and a drink order, maybe even dessert. If one person is paying at the table, the entire order would be placed on the one order form. If all five people were paying individually the waitress would use five sheets from the guest check. This is done for the benefit of the customer as well as the waitress. If the waitress were to run to the kitchen shouting five different orders at the kitchen staff, there would be mass confusion. How would the cooks be able to memorize who had what, which meals belonged together, much less the small details like mustard or no mustard. The kitchen is obviously the most important part of a restaurant. People come to eat and they expect to get what they order and pay for. Guest checks cut out this confusion because the orders are written with specifics for each customer or table. Guest checks are imperative to the smooth operation of any restaurant. As long as the waitress is able to write and the kitchen staff can read the writing, orders should not be mixed up and the customer should be happy. A place for the table number is an excellent idea when ordering guest checks. In a large restaurant where a waitress is responsible of many tables, knowing the table number would ensure that Mr. White dont end up with Mr. Browns prime rib. Making sure the orders are delivered to the correct guest is the duty of the waitress. Making sure the guest is billed for the correct meal is also the duty of the waitress. Guest checks will insure both of these duties are performed properly thus making the customer happy and guaranteeing returned business. By Skye Thomas They say that most people do complete and total career changes at least once often twice in their lifetimes. Very few people chose the ideal perfect career for themselves when they\'re in high school and blissfully happily work those same jobs for the rest of their lives. With the way that technology and everything else changes so fast, I think it\'s ridiculous to expect to stay in one job from the time you leave school until you retire. Even staying in the same company can be a huge challenge. So how will you pick your first career? Your next major career change? The first thing I want you to look at is what kinds of things do you enjoy doing and what you are naturally good at. Imagine that you just won the lottery and you will never have to work again for another day of your life. How would you spend your time? After the shopping sprees and traveling and such grows old, you\'re going to have to fill your days up doing something so that you aren\'t bored out of your mind. What would you do? What would consume your attention if you could freely bury yourself in it? Is there a way to make a living at that now? Is there a way to incorporate some of that into your current career? Could you begin doing it now as a hobby and grow it into a second income and eventually quit your \'real job\' to play full time at your new hobby/career? You obviously have to look at practicality issues. Truth be known my very favorite thing to do is drive convertibles and suntan at the beach. That\'s not likely going to ever become a career and it sure as heck isn\'t going to pay my bills! You have to look at what you like to do and take a realistic look at whether the market is ever going to pay you an income for doing it. Just because you love doing something doesn\'t mean that the world is going to love giving you money for doing it. There are plenty of musicians and artists out there who can\'t earn enough to support themselves. It takes more then just a love of your work. Pick a number of different things that you love and narrow the list down by deciding which ones would realistically finance you at the level that you require. Another thing to consider, especially when you\'re choosing your first job is how much education or special training is required. How many kids think that because they love to play basketball that they\'ll be the next Michael Jordan? How many put in the kind of work and practice that he did? If you want to be a doctor, then you better seriously contemplate the years of college and the extremely high cost of going to medical school. Down the road, a lot of the experience you get in one career can be transferred to your next career. Customer service skills that you learn while waiting tables will still serve you later when you\'re an entrepreneur. If you have a lot of the skills from previous work experience, but not all of them, then you have to figure out how to finance going to night school or whatever else you need to do to change careers. Additional education and skills shouldn\'t stop you from changing to a great job that you know you\'ll love, but you do need to take it into serious consideration while making the choice. Many of the community colleges have these cool placement tests that tell you what kinds of work you\'d be happy doing. They ask you a bunch of multiple choice questions like if you\'d rather work indoors or outside. Do you want to travel as part of your career or stay home? How much weight are you willing to lift? How introverted or extroverted are you? How much money do you want to make? After you answer these questions and a bunch more, the computer system spits out a list of careers that you would be suited to. Keep in mind that what interested you at twenty isn\'t likely to be the same as what interests you at forty. I would think that you could do an online search and find some of those tests online. These will give you some ideas you may have never considered. I remember taking one when I was in my early twenties and I ranked extremely high at \"Clergy.\" I laughed and thought that was the stupidest thing I\'d ever heard of. I wanted to be a motivational speaker and it took me a couple of days before I realized that it\'s a very similar job description. Whether I\'m telling you about God or I\'m telling you how to pull yourself up by your bootstraps, it\'s the same skills and many of the same daily tasks. I\'m preaching a different topic, but I\'m still up on my soapbox telling you what to do and telling you how to live, aren\'t I? So be open minded to what the test results show. So, start out by brainstorming ideas of things that you would love to do if money was not an issue. Then add to it the results of one of those placement tests. Take the ideas from those two exercises and start looking at the practicalities of marketability and how much education and training are necessary. If you can find a way to do what you love and make a living at it, then you\'ve got the key ingredients to creating a life of abundance and prosperity that the rest of the world only dreams of. You don\'t have to stay with something just because you used to love it and now you make a lot of money doing it. If you are bored and ready for something new, then start dreaming and planning your next adventure. By Ronny Jones When it comes to occasions like birthdays, we all celebrate it with birthday cakes, balloons, chocolates and other mouth-watering delicacies. But things are not the same everywhere. Different countries have their very own way of celebrating birthdays. Let\'s have a look at some of the most unconventional, yet interesting ways of celebrating this personal milestone. Africa - Initiation Ceremonies are held in various African nations for groups of children instead of birthdays. Children on reaching a certain age are made to learn the laws, beliefs, customs, songs and dances of their tribes. Argentina On their 15th birthday, girls dance to the rhythm of the waltz with their father and other boys. Brazil Earlobe pulls. The birthday boy or girl receives a pull on the earlobe for each year they have been alive. The birthday person also gives the first slice of the birthday cake to his/her most special friend, usually mom or dad. At the age of 15 girls dance waltz with their father and grandfather. She dances with a total of 15 partners, each symbolizing a year of her life. Canada Greasing the nose with butter. In Atlantic Canada, the nose of the birthday child is greased for good luck. It is believed that the greased nose makes the birthday child too slippery for ill luck to catch them. This tradition is reputed to be of Scottish decent. In Quebec, the birthday person receives a punch for each year they are alive and then one for good luck. China In China, the birthday child pays respect to his/her parents and receives a gift of money. Friends and relatives are invited to lunch and are served noodles to wish the birthday child a long life. Denmark A flag is flown outside the window to indicate that someone in the house is having a birthday. Gifts are placed around the bed of the birthday child while they are asleep so they will see them immediately upon awakening. Ecuador When a girl turns 15, there is a great celebration and the girl dons a pink dress. The father puts on the birthday girls first pair of high heels and dances the waltz with her while 14 maids and 14 boys also dance along with them. England In England, certain symbolic objects are mixed into the birthday cake as it is being made. If your piece of cake has a coin in it, you will be rich. Besides that, when you are having your birthday, your friends give you the bumps, they lift you in the air by you hands and feet and lift you up and down to the floor, one for each year and then one for luck, two for luck and three for the old man\'s coconut. Germany A member of the birthday person\'s family wakes up at daybreak and lights candles on the birthday cake. The number of candles will be equal to the age of the birthday person, plus one for good luck. The candles are left burning all day long. That night, after dinner, everyone sings the birthday song and the birthday boy/girl blows out the candles. Presents are then opened and the party begins. Guyana Duck, chicken or lamb curry with rice are the main dishes for the birthday celebration. A family member bakes a fruit, black or sponge for the birthday girl/boy to cut. The birthday person will wear something fancy. Holland Special year birthdays such as 5, 10, 15, 20, 21 are called crown years. The birthday child receives a large present on a crown year birthday. The family decorates the birthday child\'s dining chair with flowers, streamers and balloons. At school, the birthday child can give their classmates chocolates or other stuff to eat and the teacher makes the birthday child a special birthday hat made out of paper streamers and paper flowers. Vietnam Everyone celebrates their birthday on new year. Tet is not only the beginning of a new year, but it also means everyone\'s birthday. The Vietnamese does not acknowledge the exact day they were born. A baby turns one on Tet, no matter when he/she was born that year. On the first morning of Tet, adults congratulate children on becoming a year older by gifting them red envelopes which contains Lucky Money or li xi. These envelopes are given to children by their parents, relatives, close friends and siblings. By Sumit Sehghal Stump grinder is a useful equipment for finishing the work of tree removal. It is basically a petrol-powered tool that is used for grinding tree stumps, which are usually left over after cutting down the trees. These stump grinders may easily grind stumps to 330 mm (approximately) below ground level. Stumps can be easily removed with the correct use of stump grinders. The person who is going to use these machines should be well aware to its use. Nowadays stump grinders are available in different sizes such as large stump grinders and small stump grinders. Large stump grinders are generally used by the professionals for stump removal whereas small and cheap stump grinders are available for the some smaller functions. Users should use stump grinders with the cutting wheel on the end completely opposite the operator. They should be physically fit and properly trained for a safe use. Dont forget to keep all bystanders far away from the grinder. Always keep in mind that its cutting wheel is dangerous as well as it can throw the objects a long ways. Whenever you want to change the direction of machine you should shut off the engine. Also check the operators position when the engine is running. Homeowners normally use small stump grinders but they should also be aware of all its limitations and uses. These are quite expensive so it is best to rent a stump grinder. Author owns a website on Stump Grinders. Website provides all information about stump grinders, best stump grinders, cheap stump grinders, and uses of stump grinders. By Sanjeev Sharma (Think and Tell) Human Relations, a complex yet interesting part of our life, to dilute the complexity of human relations we can classify it into three parts. 1) Primary: Parent-child; relation among the siblings; Husband-wife. 2) Secondary: maternal and paternal grandparents; maternal and paternal uncles & and aunts; cousins; in-laws 3) External Relations: Friends; employer-employee; colleagues; relation with fellow citizen and Extra Marital relation. In laymans language, Extra-marital relations are relations to be made and nourished out-side the marriage. Different reasons for a person to enter into Extra Marital Relations Emotional comfort/security; Need of love and affection; Biological or physical need and Sometimes, even just fun. Whatever may be the need or purpose, such relations are not yet accepted by the society and common people. Rape, moving in and around red-light areas, male and female prostitutes and even live-in relations are different forms of extra-marital relations. But there are two big differences: 1)For a relation to be an extra-marital relation, one must be married. 2)One can have extra-marital relation, without entering into biological/physical relationjust for Emotional Comfort. Whereas, all other, above-mentioned relations are to satisfy biological/physical need. Few famous examples of Extra marital Affairs, Star of the Millennium Amitabh Bhachan; Princess of Wales Diana; Former President of USA Bill Clinton; For Cricketer Ian Botham, Cricketer Shane Warne, Cricketer turned Politician Imran Khan and Liquor-Baron Vijay Mallyathey are carrying an image of a Play-boy. May celebrities from entertainment industry; sportsmen and politicians across the globe are into such type of relations. Why there is so much of hue and cry over such relations? Why people are afraid of accepting such relations? True, two adult people, with mutual consent, whatever they do are no ones business but then why not accepting it. Why there is hypocrisy? Certainly there are some biological, psychological, logical and social reasons for that. I am working on a book on Human Relations and this will be one of the chapters in that book. (So, just wait for itI can assure you that it will be worth-waiting). I am looking forward to your comments on it. What do you feel about such relations? For me, it is something like this: Once in a week, you like to go for a movie; once in a month you like to party; once in a year you like to go for a vacation, why? Just for a change. In good olden days, Kings and Emperors use to have multiple queens; why? Even in 21st century, in some religions and we the communities wherein one is allowed to have multiple spouses, why? Again, the answer in change. I am not here to endorse for such relations, but I only like to say that either have control on your instincts or be brave and face the world. Dont have double standards. You can cheat the whole world, but own in your heart, you know what you are. Awaiting your comments. Their Comments: Srirupa Chakraborty :\"...One more masterpiece from you, keep it up friend.....u r getting better each time...\" Divya Parmar :\"...very good article, indeed a very good initiative to share this stuff really a Food for Thought for everyone...\" Prasad SKR: \"...I wonder how dare a person openly can admit or accept such a relation he / she has especially in the indian tradition. In recent past on screen it has become a regular phenomenon to view such relations in all most all the channels, finally ending up in a very bad state. However, frankly, to my knowledge most of the people were forced to retire as gentlemen for many a reasons; may be society, fear, family, friends, relatives, employment etc...\" Regards Sanjeev Sharma E-mail: ss_himachali@yahoo.com; s070976@yahoo.co.in) Blog: http://sanjeevhimachali.blogspot.com/ You can read my BPO/Call-Center and ITES Sector related articles at http://www.bpoindia.org/research/ You can read my motivational and inspirational articles at http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Sanjeev_Sharma Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Sanjeev_Sharma http://EzineArticles.com/?Extra-marital-Affairs...Yes-or-No!!!&id=48509 order phentermine online cod buy phentermine online no prescription needed phentermine online doctors buy phentermine online

By Christian N College degrees are a necessity in today\'s society where education is needed to make a livable salary or to receive a promotion before another degreed employee receives it. Many professionals are returning to school via the Internet to get their online college degrees. Online college degrees enable an employed worker to attend classes and receive credit for advanced education while keeping their job and allowing for flexibility in scheduling to meet their personal and family responsibilities. Adult students make up 50% of students returning to school for their college degrees. Schools offering college degrees should be aware of adult students\' needs and cater to them. Many employers will reimburse their workers for attending an educational institute that offers higher college degrees than a 4 year college would. College degrees are no longer available for the privileged few, they are mandatory for employment in many businesses and companies. An interview will not even be granted to applicants in most companies without college degrees. Many students are returning to school for online college degrees to gain better employment conditions and a higher salary. Advanced education opens doors for people, and allows them to obtain satisfying and engaging employment in their field of interest. There are college degrees offered in every subject area imaginable. Certain college degrees are necessary before moving upwards in the educational realm, such as a teaching degree is required before a teacher can receive state certification. Many online college degrees base their subject matter in the business area, however, more and more options are becoming available for those interested in receiving online college degrees. Online college degrees also offer financial aid and other sources of educational funding. While relatively new and accepted, online college degrees offer a hands on approach to learning. Subjects that are taught within the online college degrees programs can be immediately applied to the work setting. In fact there are projects that mandate implementation within a students work setting. Online college degrees are gaining more and more popularity as the year\'s progress. With advancing technology and the demand for college degrees in general growing higher and higher, it is no wonder that 8 out of 10 returning adult students opt for receiving online college degrees. By Della Franklin Here we are edging into summertime and Farmers’ Markets abound! Each time I go to my local Farmer’s Market, I find the most colorful displays of vegetables and a bounty of great homemade breads and other baked goods from local vendors. Even though you may not live in or near an agricultural community, here is some basic information to let you know that your vegetables are at their freshest? Even at the grocery store, this handy little guide will help you find the vegetables that are at the peak of their season to guarantee crispness. Summertime, is absolutely THE time for fresh vegetables. However, some vegetables are at their peak during early summer rather than when the season begins changing into early autumn. Some excellent vegetables to choose in the early summer include green beans, celery, peppers (red, yellow and green) and asparagus. All of these vegetables have a rather short maturation period which enables them to peak at the beginning of summer and the mother plant begins to grow ineffective as the weather grows dryer and hotter. This is also the peak time to choose bright yellow summer squash which is a smaller variety of your ordinary squash. Vegetables that have a short maturation period and a long performance period (which means they bear fruit continuously for a longer time) are also prevalent this time of year and into early autumn. These vegetables consist of broccoli, cucumbers (short or long), and tomatoes. Lettuce, spinach and sweet corn are also very good choices for this time of year since they grow rapidly and most farmers keep a continuous crop of these throughout the summer periods. Early autumn brings about a bountiful harvest of squash, pumpkins and zucchini. Since all of these vegetables are at their peak performance period, they can also be purchased cheaply. Especially at Farmer’s Markets since they don’t have to go through rigorous FDA testing standards and packaging. Each of these vegetables can be frozen either by scalding methods or freezing directly so that you can enjoy fresh vegetables all year long without paying high costs in the winter when the crops are gone. Be sure to stop by your local Farmer’s Market! Not only will you be getting the best vegetables your local area has to offer but you will also be supporting your local farmers!
