By Gregg Hall Go back in time to when many of us were children, do you remember the scratch and sniff stickers that would gain you attention during class? Every kid on the planet, boy or girl, loves stickers. Peruse many online auction listings for Garbage Pail Kids stickers, and the proof is undeniable. Stickers are valuable commodities. Stickers are inexpensive items that generally can only be used once, yet children go nuts for them. Bank tellers know this and often hand out stickers to any customer who has a child in tow. Grocery store cashiers happily hand over \"paid\" stickers to youngsters who ask. So, what is the fascination? Children love sticking these nifty items all over their notebooks, books, doors, and even their bodies. Ask any child why they have stickers on their face and they will answer, \"Because it is fun\". Stickers are a means to that child expressing his or her individual personality. Of course, many children will admit that sneaking stickers onto unsuspecting family members\' backs is also fun. Some of today\'s best selling stickers include popular movies like Finding Nemo, Cars, or Flushed Away. Popular television characters like Strawberry Shortcake, Thomas The Tank Engine, Pokemon, My Little Pony, Spongebob, and Rugrats are also top sellers. Older children love stickers from their favorite musicians. Stickers with images of Green Day, Britney Spears, Usher, Kayne West, and Hillary Duff sell out of stores quickly. Why? It is a child or teenager\'s way to express a little about him or herself. Think back to your own childhood. I remember in fifth and sixth grade, my notebooks and binders were covered in scratch and sniff stickers. As I aged, rock bands like AC/DC and Aerosmith replaced the girly stickers from my past. By high school, the cruder Garbage Pail Kids were far more appealing. It just goes to show that even as I aged, stickers were still forms of entertainment. You may be surprised to learn that many stores are now selling Garbage Pail Kids again. Like many children\'s toys, stickers from the past are making a comeback. Stickers never go out of style. They still appeal to children and always will. Though they are fun, you should teach your child about the importance of some stickers. Remember Mr. Yuck? Mr. Yuck was a brightly colored sticker placed on poisonous items to warn children from touching or ingesting that item. Make sure children know the difference! Obviously, you should watch little ones who have stickers. Toddlers are usually tempted to put just about anything in their mouths and stickers can be a choking hazard to children that age. It is best to closely monitor a toddler if you decide to allow that child to play with a sticker. Stickers help bring out the artistic nature in children of all ages. As many sticker sheets cost a couple dollars, it is an excellent way to surprise a child. A sheet of stickers will certainly brighten your child\'s day. By Gregg Hall Everyday it seems like I see a new women\'s perfume being touted by some celebrity as the next hot thing and with the perfume and cologne industry bringing in over twenty billion dollars a year it\'s no surprise that companies are using celebrities to help them corner a piece of this market. The big question is however, are the perfumes being pushed by these stars really worth the money being asked for them? Sometimes the answer to this may depend upon whether or not you really like the fragrance or if you are a huge fan of the celebrity who is endorsing the perfume. What you really need to look at with these perfumes is whether you are actually shelling out your hard earned money for the actual scent or for the name associated with it, those endorsements don\'t come cheap. In many cases you will find that the fragrance is just a cheap knock off that can be made anywhere by anyone. In some rare cases you will find distinct scents that cannot be found anywhere else, those are worth considering. One example of an overpriced scent that can be found and remade easily is the one endorsed by Britney Spears. It\'s just some simple fragrances blended together that you can get without paying the price for her name. The perfume that is pushed by Beyonce is one that may be worth looking at because it does contain a distinct scent that may be hard to duplicate, you just have to decide if it is worth the money. Then of course we have Paris Hilton who is only famous because she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth. Sorry, but I am just not impressed. She is a master at getting her name out though and of course she endorses a perfume named after her. But, like most other celebrity endorsed perfumes hers is nothing special and could be recreated with a little work. One perfume that I have seen of late that is somewhat unique is the one that Jessica Simpson has reportedly had a hand in making. With scents like coconut, honey, and white chocolate it is quite unique and could be worthwhile. These days you see celebrities selling all kinds of things. Some sports stars actually get paid more for their endorsements than they earn from their sport. The perfume industry is an enormous global business so you will not see it going anywhere but up and you will see companies rely even more on the use of celebrities to help them sell their particular fragrance. My advice is, let the buyer beware. Gregg Hall is an author and internet marketing consultant living in Navarre Florida. By Alan Summers Callicarpas Loads of Berries from Late Summer through Autumn One of our favorite plants for fall interest is the Callicarpa. What puts these hardy deciduous shrubs at the top of our list is the profusion of lavender purple berries that are borne in autumn, adding distinctive color to the garden. Callicarpa is actually Greek for beautiful fruit, and these shrubs are commonly called Beauty Berries. This week we are featuring the Callicarpa with the showiest fruit display, \'Early Amethyst.\' Plant Early Amethyst for the Longest Berry Display of any Callicarpa Callicarpa \'Early Amethyst\' is a striking deciduous shrub with lime-green foliage on arching branches. In the late summer and throughout the autumn, \'Early Amethyst\' will deliver vivid color to your landscape with profuse clusters of glossy purple berries, a very unusual color for berries on hardy shrubs. The berries are particularly attractive after the leaves have fallen in mid fall. These beautiful berries remain into winter. On \'Early Amethyst\' the berries begin to appear in August, several weeks before any other Beauty Berry. \'Early Amethyst\' will quickly mature to about four feet tall and three to four feet wide. Use \'Early Amethyst\' as a low hedge, in a border or as a specimen planting. Stems of dried Callicarpa berries make a display that lasts for over a month indoors. They combine beautifully with dried Pee Gee Hydrangea blooms or dried Winterberry Holly berries. Not only is \'Early Amethyst\' beautiful, but it is also very hardy and easy to grow. All Callicarpas are deer resistant. Plant in a rich, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade and watch your \'Early Amethyst\' thrive. Any pruning of old or crowded branches or pruning to desired size should be done in early spring. Every three or four years, early spring rejuvenation pruning (cutting all stems almost to ground level) is desirable. Planting and Care For best results plant in well-drained soil in early fall or spring. Prefers full sun to part shade. Plant 5 feet apart. Water regularly until established. Fertilize with Plant-Tone and Kelp Meal in late autumn and early spring. Hardy in Zones 5 (with protection)-8. Rated as deer resistant. By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=David_Fishman]David Fishman What does it mean when you combine the power of a PDA with a mobile phone? If you need to you are able to conduct business when ever you want it doesnt matter what time of the night or day it is you will always have the ability to communicate. For women there are so many accessories and cases to put their cell phone, many cases come in leather and many different colors. As mobile phones gain popularity they are fast replacing landlines in many homes, many children are receiving cell phones from their parents where the children do not need to use the landlines anymore since they have their own personal phone and number. Well its going to get better; you are going to have a true video camera built into your phone, which will be good for 10 to 20 minutes of record time. Such customers can go in for prepaid, as it makes more sense to them. For many consumers who dont have a good credit rating and dont want to go thru the hassles prepaid cell phones is the perfect choice. Many people now are looking for free prepaid cell phones using the internet, many companies are doing this for promotional purposes. Many people are opting to use prepaid wireless plans because this is a way of putting a limit or budgeting how much you spend on phone calls. In cases such as those, prepaid cell phones can be the proverbial lifesaver. Prepaid cell phones are a good idea to keep the expense down, the calls are more expensive to make on these phones but you can only make the calls once the credit is there. As cell phones become more advanced and they started to features like video capabilities there has been a new group who created a movement called cell phone filming. Many have hailed the smart cell phone with video or digital picture ability as a great crime stopper. You can buy so many minutes for a certain amount of money. Prepaid cell phone enable you to pay for the minutes that you need, basically pay as you go, remember the more you talk on the phone the more you will pay unless you put a budget guard on the phone. By Russ Reina Life extracts its toll. Period. No one escapes trials. They look different for each person. Trauma is relative. The child who comes from a very loving home and environment can be traumatized by something that would seem, to the child growing up in the ghetto, as less-than nothing. Yet, it isnt nothing. For regardless the cause, when your overriding reality is suddenly disrupted by something unexpected, the reverberations live inside you for a while. There is no set time limit on how long you reel from the aftereffects of any one incident. It takes as long as it takes. The only variable in the equation is your choice. And it is your choice to compress, eliminate or expand the time it takes you to move away from the cycle of your pain. It is your choice to stay locked into the past or future, or living inside the present moment. Working within the healing arts exposes you to trauma of all sorts. It is virtually impossible to insulate yourself completely from the pain of others. To compound matters even more, healers often must run through repetitive internal gauntlets of personal doubts about their abilities, skills, sensitivities, and, yes, even intention. It can be an extremely vicious circle when self-doubt creeps in to the work youre called upon to do. It can begin through any number of ways, but a sure-fire entry point is that place where you accept there are dues to be paid. In some situations, dues are simply an exchange for services: In return for this, you must pay that. But in a lot of cases, the concept is expanded to include something like if you want to do this, then you have to pay just like that. In essence, dues are a statement that this and that are the way things are; for me, for you, for everybody. Thats where the problem occurs. When you accept someone elses definition of dues (or their way of paying them), as your own, you are living their life, not yours. Just like with natural consequences, there are natural dues. But they are written in broad strokes implying that, of course, there truly is a passageway and cost to gaining any kind of knowledge and experience. Paradoxically, while dues in general are not specific, the passageways and toll booths leading to them are very specifically designed for the individual. Thats why the dues for you are not necessarily the dues for me. Even though, for example, we both want to be good Doctors, its going to take you a whole different set of lessons than me to get there. And dont forget, this concept runs both ways. As you must free yourself from adopting others paths without taking the time to adapt them to your particular needs, you must also free others to find their own ways without imposing your definition of dues on them. When you choose to enter into agreement with the concept there are dues to be paid that conform to a fixed, outward-driven criteria whether this be with yourself or others -- you are moving as if there is only one way to gain experience. Where that falls flat is that it eliminates the factors of choice and your ability to affect both your circumstances and your attitude. These are among the most powerful tools at your disposal. To impose the concept of dues on them is to choke your potential. As a healer, it is of paramount importance to live within the what is of the moment. That means maintaining freedom from any assumptions or expectations of how things will work out, or, by extension, what they will cost. Believing that in any one situation you are just paying your dues implies that youre enduring what is happening now, rather than doing something to create a new moment. Things do happen and you do get affected. These are the dues of life. It is ongoing. Things happen every moment. You are affected every moment. And though we may guess at how long any one particular incident may continue its effect, or how that will specifically manifest itself, we never really know; not for ourselves, not for others. Dues are, by definition, that which is deserved, or owed. It does not mean that which has been pre-determined. When we lock ourselves into a belief system that were just paying our dues were prolonging our time in a place of reaction rather than action. Never should we discount the experience of others, but neither should we cling to it as something that defines our own paths. So pay your dues, to people, to situations, to your God, but only that which is earned or deserved. As long as it serves you, as long as theres an even exchange, its worth it. But when the balance gets off kilter, its time to start to seek an approach that frees, rather than constricts you. By Zach Bashore Weight loss is a goal millions of people have but very few people have the knowledge needed to successfully lose weight. Not only do you have to eat less calories, you have to know how to keep muscle loss to a minimum as well. This article will discuss the basics of cutting up, what cutting is, how to properly cut, and tips to help you lose as much fat as possible. You should then be able to use what you`ve learned into your own diet and workout regimen. Cutting is simply stripping the body of excess bodyfat while keeping as much muscle mass as possible. Call it getting ripped, shredded, or sliced, it all serves the same purpose; to make the body look the best as possible. There are three primary reasons for wanting to cut. You may be training for a bodybuilding competition and need to achieve that \"hard\" appearance with cuts and striations. You could be into the bulking-cutting cycles and want to lose a little bit of fat to look good for a special occasion. Finally, you could even be naturally prone to carrying excess bodyfat and want to cut down in order to get that \"bodybuilder`s appearance.\" Most weight loss diets forget the fact that you are trying to lose fat, not just weight itself. There are even bodybuilders who believe that they can lose fat and gain muscle at the same time. From a scientific point of view, it`s simply just not possible to do this because when the body is in an energy deficit, it cannot gain muscle as well. That is why it is very important to choose a diet that is one or the other, cutting or bulking. No matter which diet you choose, there are a few helpful tips that will speed up the fat loss process. Do some sort of aerobic activity. Aerobics speed up your metabolism and allows you to eat more calories daily. You need to engage in a weight lifting routine. Muscle burns calories, which is exactly what you want to have. Use basic supplements such as a healthy fat source and a multivitamin. Drink plenty of water, you don`t have to drown yourself but you should at least stay hydrated. You also need to make sure that you are getting plenty of sleep. Sleeping will decrease your chances of gaining unwanted fat from stress so it is a must that you get eight to ten hours of sleep daily. Fat loss is a rather simple matter if you have experience doing it. The first time one goes on a cutting diet you may think ,\"Oh my god, I can`t eat six meals everyday.\" Or \"I can`t go very long without eating junk food.\" That`s the beauty of it, when on a cutting diet, you can have a cheat meal once every two weeks to keep your mind fresh and your body metabolism the previous healthy nutrients that you were consuming. Do the right thing, go on a cutting diet. Until next time, peace. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/efficientloss.htm http://www.getbig.com/glossary/jargon.htm http://www.trulyhuge.com/news/tips62q.htm http://www.muscletalk.co.uk/losing-fat.asp MY SITES: http://www.clubbodybuilding.com and http://www.geocities.com/bashore69/bodybuildingarticles.html Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Zach_Bashore http://EzineArticles.com/?Cutting-for-Rookies&id=153124 order ambien without a prescription addicted ambien zolpidem oral ativan adiction

By Vicki Churchill Most professional crafters will already know and have enjoyed creating stunning cards, scrapbook pages and gifts with decoupage. Decoupage comes from the French word \'cut\' and originated in the 18th century. In its early years decoupage may have been considered a child craft as it involves cutting pieces paper and layering them on top of each other to create an image that is 3d. Today decoupage is becoming more and more sophisticated and quite often I have seen larger decoupage images framed as pictures around peoples homes. The effects decoupage has may make it look complicated but it is actually really simple. It is important to have the right tools when creating decoupage images for card or scrapbook projects I would strongly recommend you invest in a pair of high quality curved scissors and when cutting remember to have the curve away from your body. Keep the hand holding the scissors still apart from opening and closing the blades to cut the paper, you will get a far better result if you move the paper and guide it to the scissors rather than the other way around. You may need to use a scalpel or craft knife when cutting intricate parts of decoupage or parts from inside the image its self. If you do use a craft knife make sure you have a cutting mat underneath before you cut. Once you have cut your images out the next step is to create layers to go on top of each other, those that have been creating decoupage images for sometime may use silicone gel to layer the images on top of each other but beginners to decoupage will find foam pads are a great way to start. Remember you do not want to see the foam pads when the image has been stuck down so take care not to place them too near the edge of your cutting. Then simply layer the images on top of each other to create a stunning 3d look. Decoupage sheets can be easily purchased on the internet or in craft shops some of which will come with step by step instructions making it even easier for you to know exactly what and where to cut. You could also try finding your own images on the internet and simply repeating the design at least 4 times then printing on high quality inkjet paper, you will need to be careful with copyright issues if you do decide to try this. It is also possible to purchase decoupage disks or cd where the images are all ready there all you need to do is print, cut and stick them together. Decoupage is becoming more and more popular to crafters, if you are new to card making it is something that is simple but extremely effective for card projects giving them a really professional look. Vicki Churchill writes for a site that specializes in Card Making Ideas providing you with excellent tips and ideas for Scrapbooking and Decoupage including where to get find the best bargains Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Vicki_Churchill http://EzineArticles.com/?How-To-Create-Stunning-Effects-With-Decoupage&id=542219 ativan addiction ambien weight loss mix ambien and klonopin dogs and ativan

By Annette Thomas 1. Direct mail. With the rise of email marketing, direct mail has fallen out of favor. But it is still a cost-effective way to advertise in many industries. To be successful, your direct-mail piece should look professional and feature well-written copy. Hire a professional copywriter and designer if these skills are beyond you ability. You may even be able to barter for design or writing work. 2. Voicemail. Even the outgoing message on your answering machine or voicemail system can help promote your business when utilized correctly. Make sure your message provides additional product or service information so that it is working for you, even in the middle of the night. 3. Brochures. Brochures are still an effective way to present your product or service to new customers. They are relatively cheap and easy to print and you can distribute them by mail or by leaving them at locations where they will be noticed. A professional-looking brochure can help convince potential customers that are still on the fence about your products. 4. Press releases. The only thing better than cheap publicity is free publicity, and well-timed, professional press releases can result in just that. By timing a product launch or promotion to coincide with a related local or national event, you may be able to get editors to include your release in their media vehicle, be it newspaper, radio, or television. 5. Case studies. Case studies aren\'t just for scientific applications. Studies of your products in action can help your potential customers learn more and make an educated decision before they buy. 6. Referrals. Referrals are probably the single best way to find new customers. If you do something well, chances are people are going to talk about it. Offering incredible customer service to your clients will ensure that you end up with satisfied customers who are willing to share your information with their friends and colleagues. 7. Radio interviews. If you can speak knowledgably about your product or service and tie it in well with current events, radio interviews are a great way to reach a wide audience and improve your customer base. 8. Affiliate programs. Online affiliate programs are one of the most cost-effective ways to market your products to a wide range of potential customers. It\'s like having the benefit of a commission-based sales force, but without any of the hassles of managing actual employees. 9. A well-designed Web site. Your Web site will be the first impression for your company for many of your customers. Make it a good one. Your site should provide information about your product or service in a clear and intuitive format. Many people prefer to do their research online before making a purchase, so make sure your site leaves them with the right impression. 10. Ezines or Newsletters. When you provide interesting and informative content related to the products you sell, you can turn a subscriber list into a frequent buyer list. If you do not have the time to run your own ezine or newsletter, you can submit articles with your information to different publications. When you are perceived as a knowledgeable expert, potential customers know that they can rely on you for quality information and quality products.
