provider of Category 1 continuing education contact hours (CECH) in
health education by the
National Commission for Health Education
Credentialing, Inc. This program is a designated event for CHES to
receive up to 2.0 Category 1 CECH in health education. This program has been approved by the
State of Nevada Board of Examiners for Marriage and Family Therapists for 2.0 hours of continuing education. This program has been approved by Area Health Education Center of Southern Nevada for 2.0 hours of

At the conclusion of this course participants will be able to:
- Discuss the problem of domestic violence; its detection, prevention, and appropriate interventions;
- Identify reporting obligations and confidentiality concerns;
- Review the basic concepts of medical ethics, including medical terminology; and
- Examine and discuss case studies.

Item number three below is a program evaluation. The data collected from the evaluation form will help us to create and refine our courses and educational materials to meet your needs.
