 Community Health Education Programs
AHEC provides community outreach to support youth and families through Southern Nevada. A diverse group of programs including Child Abuse Prevention, Environmental Health, Family Life, Student Development, Women's Issues and Workforce Development. Each program is dedicated to providing the community with information, classes and outreach in different forms.
 Professional Education Programs
AHEC develops programs for health professionals tailored to their educational needs as well as: clinical updates, skills reviews, and psychosocial assessment and intervention are among the types of programs conducted. We offer a broad spectrum of Continuing Education credits both online and in a classroom environment, including HIV/AIDS and Emergency Preparedness programs.

Area Health Education Center of Southern Nevada is a nonprofit 501 (c) 3 organization that provides continuing education for health care professionals; enrichment and health career awareness programs as well academic areas for at-risk students; family and life skills training; and outreach for women who need screening and treatment for breast and cervical cancer.
