Women's issues program (WIP)
The Women’s Issues Program strives to meet the health education needs of women and health care professionals throughout Nevada.
AHEC of Southern Nevada’s WIP focuses on:
- Outreach and education to Clark County’s underserved women on the life-saving benefits of breast cancer screening for early detection.
- Increasing leadership & advocacy skills to women who reside in rural/frontier Nevada.
- Provide Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Continuing Education (CE) trainings to health care professionals with a focus in a women’s health.
